Come and join us by Barons Walk, just inside Tonbridge Castle grounds, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Wealdway. This long-distance path runs from Gravesend to Eastbourne via the centre of Tonbridge by the Medway bridge. Guests will include the Mayor of Tonbridge.

After the ceremony, you’re welcome to join one of Kent Ramblers free group walks.

Tonbridge to Groombridge and Tunbridge Wells

A strenuous walk starting at Tonbridge Castle and walking 10 miles of the Wealdway south via Bidborough, Speldhurst and Fordcombe to Groombridge, where we pick up the Tunbridge Wells Circular back to Tunbridge Wells. Meet on the North bank of the Medway by the corner of Tonbridge Castle. This is a linear walk with return from Tunbridge Wells by train.
