King's Hill Sculpture Walk

  • Outside Playden's Alexander Grove West Malling, England, ME19 4SZ United Kingdom (map)

An opportunity to see the 10 sculptures on Kings Hill.  The walk will pause at each sculpture for a brief description of the artwork.  The walk finishes near the Control Tower and there will be time to read the text on the RAF roundels and find the 12 brass reliefs set in the pavement including the one of the Magical Mystery Tour bus marking the day The Beatles visited West Malling Airfield (now Kings Hill) in 1967.

Additional Notes:

A mud free winter walk along pavements.

Dogs must be on a lead due to the roads.

Nibble break.

Pub and coffee shops after the walk.

To avoid a parking fine, please check parking restrictions before you park, there is currently a 3 hour limit in the Asda car park, but you can go online and pay for additional time (justpark.com).  There is a small free car park to the right of Asda by the GP surgery, off Queen Street.
